I must tell you i was about to throw this cutter out the window. ![]() Properties, set interface to PRINTER then set printer to the generic printer you just set up. ![]() go into extensions, cutter/plotter then inkcut once done load inkscape select your drawing. at this point all you need to do is go into printer settings add a printer to the USB to serial port that now displays when before it didnt. ![]() plug the usb adapter into your computer then use the 9 pin serial cable from the cutter and plug it into the adapterĤ. then buy a USB to serial (9 pin) adapter.ģ. first thing you need to do is throw away your USB cable that plugs into the machine. However with linux it just was NOT working!!!!ġ. This cutter worked great with windows with both usb and serial cables. Inkscape to draw with inkcut 1.0 extension installed ![]() Yes i am a noobee to linux and vinyl cutting but i got it to work. ![]()
